| it will fail in it's weakest part. In this case it will be in the welds and then eventually the weight of the turbo/downpipes/engine vibration combined with the excessive heat running through the manifold will cause the entire assembly to distort as well. Pulled a set off for someone here a month ago. He ran them for 3 months and then they went to crap. He had installed them before I met him and then asked me about an exhaust leak. Upon inspection they had split 2 times on the passenger side from the flange (flange that bolts to head) away from the tubular piping at #4 and #6. Passenger side looked okay but I am sure it was just a matter of time. We pulled them and ended up installing a set of ported/extrude honed set of stockies that he had picked up. I truly believe cast is the way to go for a piece that sees so much abuse on our cars. With prices on these units down as low as they are now it just makes sense to go with something proven.
Either way good luck and just be ready to pull the engine again if they do go bye bye on you.
